Transfer and parking

Arrange your journey as part of your vacation and take time to absorb and enjoy the beautiful countryside.
At the village entrance or from the railway station of Zermatt, we are pleased to pick up guests and chauffeur them to the hotel with an electro-auto.

By Car

Zermatt is traffic-free.

Access for cars is only permitted as far as Täsch (5 km-distance from Zermatt).
The road from Täsch to Zermatt is not open to private transport.

In Täsch visitors find our Welcome Parking Welcome Parking.

A taxi service is available to bring guests to and from Zermatt, as well as the Matterhorn Gotthard shuttle train which departs every 20 minutes.
Limousine, bus and taxi transfers on request.

via Bern – Kandersteg – vehicle transport to Visp –Täsch

Recommended travel route from Italy:
via Milan – Domodossola – Simplon – Brig – Täsch
via Grosser St. Bernhard – Martigny – Visp – Täsch

Recommended travel route from France:
via Geneva – Lausanne – Visp – Täsch

By train

In Brig and Visp the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn offers a direct connection to Zermatt – the world popular resort is reached in an approximate hour with a journey through the wild and romantic Visp valley.
Traveling through the Lötschberg tunnel shortens travel time from the north, center and east of Switzerland to Zermatt by around 72 minutes.

By plane

Zermatt is reached in only a few hours from the international airports of Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Milan and Bern.
These airports offer national and international flights by Swiss and many other airlines.
Zermatt also has its own Heliport, which is run by the company Air Zermatt.
